Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 The Act requires the Bureau of Justice Statistics to analyze the occurence and effects of prison rape and calls for the National Institute of Correction to train Federal, State, and local prison authorities to prevent, investigate, and punish when rape occurs. It also authorizes monetary grants to help States eliminate prison rape.
