Executive Order: Equal Protection of the Laws for Faith-based and Community Organizations (2002) Presents the federal governments' policy on collaboration with faith-based groups and waves laws that would prevent groups that hire on the basis of religion from receiving federal funds.
Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000
The Act prohibits the federal government from imposing a land use regulations that hinder a person's religious exercise. Also prevents any government rule from substantially burdening inmate's religious exercise.
