You are joining a broad coalition of leaders in Michigan who are working to enact smart reforms that will cut crime and lower corrections costs. This kit will equip you become an effective advocate for change. You can get involved by:

 

  • Talking with your family and friends about the issues.

We’ve included a list of talking points that you can use to raise awareness amongst your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and Bible study members.

 

  • Writing a letter to the editor

This kit contains some suggestions and a sample letter to help you make your voice heard in the media.

Above all, please join us in praying for Michigan. Ask God to guide Michigan’s leaders to make wise decisions. Pray for comfort and healing for the victims of crime. Pray for hope and help for the families of prisoners. Pray for transformation in the lives of offenders. And, pray that justice and righteousness will prevail in Michigan.
